2. CHECK YOUR CLASS DETAILS!
Since registration opened, some class details such as location and time have been adjusted. Please check your email for your class confirmation! You can also login to your Parent Portal to confirm.
-Each location has parking specifications (as most places in Moorestown!), and we would like parents to be aware before classes begin!
Union Street parking: 301 Union Street in Moorestown. Please use our parking lot (located directly behind our building) or street parking along Union Street and 3rd Street. Please do not park in the Church Street Station office parking lots (this includes the gravel lot where the dumpster is located), or in the Mill Street Tires parking lot. You will get towed.
Main Street parking:Â Â 115R Main Street in Moorestown. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT TINY TUTUS ENTRANCE IS BEHIND MAIN STREET, FACING 2ND STREET. The parking lot is located off 2nd Street. Our entrance is facing the parking lot right next to the Running Co. Coming from Church, the Municipal Building is on the left and Tiny Tutus parking lot is on the right.
3. WHAT TO WEAR?Â
Dress Code Lists: -8 Week Course Dress Code
-Labeling- to ensure all dancers come home with their own belongings, please put their name in shoes and on dance bag.Â
4. Â GETTING YOUR GEAR! Â
Get your dance wear and shoes BEFORE you begin by visiting the studio during this week's office hours listed above. If you can't make these times, you must make an appointment for the second week of class (week of September 20th) or purchase online at our boutique, and we will call you when your order is ready.
*PLEASE BE AWARE: as of now, our distributor is running about two-four weeks behind due to it being a peak season. If your dancer does not have their shoes or dance wear for the first few weeks of class, they are welcome to wear any color dance wear, active wear, socks or slippers (for jazz or tap) until their order comes in.
Starting September 20th, if you need to purchase items and do not have an appointment, you can visit the front desk once we get all of our dancers into the classroom. If we have an appointment coming in, we will take your number and call you once it is your turn.
          Â
-Please note: shoes and dance wear (except tights) MUST be tried on with a Tutus employee before taking home. Tights can not be exchanged or returned once the package is opened.

KNOW THE NEW PROCEDURES!
Please click here to read our full description of Fall 2021 Covid Policies and Make up Class Procedures.
Drop off/Pick Up
We will begin accepting students 5 minutes before the class start time. Families will wait outside until we open the door. Students will enter the studio without parent. Upon entering, students will sanitize their hands. Temperatures will no longer be taken and recorded. Students will each have their own spot to sit and change shoes before entering the classroom. Parents are welcome to enter the studio with a mask to visit the front desk for any questions/payment/registration needs while classes are in session- we ask that you wait until students are in the classroom before coming inside. Merchandise- you must make an appointment starting the week of September 20th.
*For younger students, we understand the first few weeks might be tough to leave their parent. We will work with our students until they feel comfortable.
While students are in class, parents are free to wait in the car and observe class via Zoom. Please see instructions below to access your assigned Zoom code. At the end of class, parents will wait at the door until students are released by a staff member.
***Helpful Tip- please send your dancer in easy to slip on and slip off shoes (no tied shoes) to help with the flow of classes coming in and out!***
VIRTUAL WAITING ROOM!
Virtual Waiting Room Only. No Virtual Classes.
Every class (except Dance With Me 8 Week Course) has been assigned a Zoom link that will be used all year for parent's to watch class virtually. All parents should choose the "hide" option so that students are not able to see your face as this is distracting during class. Just click on the link to join! You don't need a zoom account to attend a meeting!
The zoom class code will be the same every week- save it in your notes or somewhere safe where you can copy and paste it into your browser each week! 8 Week Courses will have a new Zoom code with each new 8 week session.
To access your code, click on the link below to log in to your Parent Portal. Once in your Portal: -Click Manage Students -On the right hand side you will see a black box that says Notes. Click on the box to view your Zoom information organized by class. -Copy and paste the Zoom link into your browser and then you will need to enter your meeting ID and password Access to Parent Portal: https://dancestudio-pro.com/online/tinytutusdancecenter
Troubleshooting with Zoom: Double check your device, internet connection and most importantly, that you have the correct Zoom link! If you are not sure of your link, please check with the staff by emailing us at tinytutusdancecenter@gmail.com. We can not guarantee that staff will be available to troubleshoot or give you the link at the last minute, so please follow the directions below to check your link ahead of time.
Hiding Parents: By clicking on the three dots on one of the participants squares, and in the drop down, it will say Hide Non-Video Participants so that only the students are visible on the screen. On an iPad you will click the three dots in the top right corner and then click meeting settings then Hide Non-Video Participants. Please practice this before classes begin.
****Please keep in mind that technology and wifi are not perfect! There may be times (due to weather or unforeseen circumstances) that our wifi or devices are not cooperating. We always try our best to trouble shoot and appreciate your understanding with this!****
#fancylike tutus challenge!
At Tutus we like to kick off the year doing something fun with the entire studio. We have done the Baby Shark challenge in the past, but this year we will do the #fancylike challenge!
Check out the video here
For the first two weeks of class, all dancers will learn the popular TikTok #fancylike dance! Week 1 they will learn the dance during the last few minutes of class then week 2, they will review and record the dance. Teachers will upload each class on our TikTok app @tutusdancecenter and will post on our Facebook and Instagram. Make sure you follow us on all 3! (Teachers will adjust the moves for younger dancers. It's just for fun!) Then parents and friends will vote! Check out the contest rules below!
Miss Melanie
As some of you may have heard, Miss Melanie will be moving to Arizona this year. Her husband will be retiring as a police officer earlier than expected, and they will be fulfilling their dream of moving out west where it is warm!
While we are tremendously sad to see her go, we are so happy for Miss Melanie and her family as they embark on their new adventure! She will always hold a special place at Tutus and we feel so lucky to have had her for six wonderful years! Some of you may see her at the studio helping out as she will be leaving in October.
We are also excited about adding some wonderful new staff members to our Tutus Family! We have added teacher bios to all of our classes that can be accessed through the Parent Portal.
You can also access our staff bios here and on our website: https://www.canva.com/design/DAEmO_ujGXM/S3hzkm9VemYHjymZ_WlR5A/view?utm_content=DAEmO_ujGXM&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link&utm_source=sharebutton
Classes Start September 13th!
