Masks

Masks are required by all students, staff and parents upon entering the studio this summer (besides students 2 and under). No exceptions.

Class Capacities

We will be opening up class and camp capacities to our pre-covid class sizes. In most cases, this means camps and classes will increase by 2-4 students. Spots will open this week. Our pre-covid class capacities are based on studio size, age of students and a comfortable student:teacher ratio. Any adjustments to these numbers are approved by both the studio director and teacher.

Make ups and Zoom

-We are no longer offering virtual classes or virtual make up classes on Zoom as we did in the fall. Zoom will only be used for a virtual waiting room for 8 Week Courses.

-Due to the large amount of requests we receive for make ups because of vacations and sickness, we unfortunately, can not offer make up classes or camps during the summer session. It becomes very hard to keep track of who is coming when and is not fair to students or teachers to adjust to constant changes each week. Since summer is such a short window, we ask that you check your schedule and vacations before signing up for our summer session. We appreciate your understanding of this policy.

Classroom Policies

-Each dancer will be be given a spot to stand during class that will be spaced at least 3 feet apart. Each dancer will also have a personal space box to keep a change of shoes and also to sit and wait their turn during class. Props will be incorporated back into our curriculum and will be sanitized after each use.

Snacks for Camp!

We will resume our snack break for summer dance camps. We will have the dancers spaced out so they can safely remove their masks and enjoy a small snack. Masks will be worn again after snack. We will serve animal crackers, goldfish and water during camp. If your dancer has any allergies, we will have you bring a snack from home and sign our allergy sheet during drop-off.

Cleaning

Tiny Tutus staff will continue to clean all areas with industrial strength cleaner. Bathrooms will be sanitized after each use and classrooms and equipment will be sanitized between classes. Both studios will be professionally cleaned each week.

*We continue to ask that if your child is not feeling well or is experiencing any symptoms, to keep them home. If a Tutus staff member suspects any dancer is unwell, we will contact the parent on file to pick them up.
