Our Annual Year End Recital preparations are well on their way, and we have been diligently planning an exciting end to our 2024-2025 season.
A dance recital is always an exciting time for a dancer and their families. It is our goal to make your dancer’s day as organized and exciting as possible!
Our recital depends on everyone's involvement to make it the success your child deserves. A recital is a team effort. Every dancer, parent, and teacher play a key role in the success of the show. We cannot do it without you!
This handbook contains all the necessary information you will need to make your recital experience an enjoyable one. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask. We thank you for the gift of your wonderful and talented children and look forward to working with you on this year's recital!

1. Calling all dancers in the 2025 recital: We Need Your Dancer's Picture!
Due March 15th
Each year at our Recital, we produce beautiful slideshows introducing our dancers before the show starts.

All pictures/answers are due by March 15th. These do not need to be professional pictures! Using your phone is fine! We suggest posing your dancer against a plain background or wall so they stand out.

2. Recital Program Ads!
Due April 6th
Sending your favorite dancer a personalized "ad" in our recital program is a great way to commemorate their dance year.
Due to how popular the ads are and the limited space in the program book, we will only be selling 1/4 and 1/2 page ads.
How to place a Star Ad:
Choose ad size and make payment in our online store HERE
Ads will not be processed without payment.
Payment/Forms are Due by April 6th. No exceptions.
2. Once payment is made, you will be emailed a QR Code/Link
to submit ad details and photos.
The google form will ask you to either choose a predesigned template (we do the work-you provide the picture of your dancer) or you can choose to design your own ad. You will need to submit a separate form for each ad submitted but can pay for the total in one payment.

Check your parent portal for details on what your dancer needs for their recital. Don't forget to check dancer's shoes if they fit or if there is a special shoe needed and order by APRIL 6th!

5.Individual/sibling photo sessions
Tangible Little Moments Photography, located in Moorestown, will be doing mini photo sessions for our recital track students and we are thrilled! There are a limited amount of slots and they will be available on a first come first served basis.

Dates: May 13-15 from 4:00pm-8:00pm
15 minute time slot per session
Sitting Fee per session: $40.00 (must be paid before scheduling time slot)
Sign ups will be in your parent portal under Appointments & Private Lessons.

How it works: AFTER YOUR PHOTO SESSION: Between 1-2 weeks after your dancer’s session, you will receive a link via email to view the unedited proofing gallery of images- typically over 30 images. From there you will decide to purchase the entire digital gallery or single/multiple digital images. There is no commitment to buy, but we know you are going to love the photos! Once you select your favorites and pay for your images, your gallery will be edited and emailed to you. Kindly note that the final editing process will take an additional 1-2 weeks (you will receive your edited gallery no later than June 16th). The digital files can be printed and shared anywhere. Payments will be made directly to Jena Rae Torres (Tangible Little Moments Photography).

How to schedule: Log into your Tutus parent portal. Look at the top menu for the heading name “Register”. Click the drop down arrow and click on "Private Lessons & Appointments" which will bring you to the “Individual/Sibling Mini Photo Sessions”. Click “Schedule” where you will then see the list of days/times. You can edit this up to 24 hours before your appointment. Please see the cancellation policy.
6.RECITAL DIGITAL DOWNLOAD VIDEO
RECITAL 2025 DIGITAL DOWNLOAD is now available for pre-sale purchase!
-You can watch the recital on any device, tablets, phones, computers and some smart TV’s
-You can download the video whenever you want -The video quality will be much better in High Definition-No worries of losing, scratching or breaking your DVD
-Recital Opening and "in between" slide shows are included in video

7. Recital Tickets

WE ARE PROUD TO BE ABLE TO GIVE OUR DANCERS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHOWCASE WHAT THEY HAVE LEARNED ALL YEAR ON STAGE IN A PROFESSIONAL THEATER.
THE PROCEEDS FROM TICKET SALES ARE USED TO PAY FOR THE THEATER, SCENERY, LIGHTING AND BACKSTAGE CREWS. TO ENSURE THAT WE CAN CONTINUE TO SHOWCASE OUR STUDENTS IN A PROFESSIONAL THEATER, WE RELY ON OUR FAMILIES TO SUPPORT THEIR CHILD’S PERFORMANCE BY SELLING TICKETS.

This is the last week of classes for the season! Parent's are encouraged to attend the last 10 minutes of your dancer's class to review costume and rehearsal details.

Please note: Call time is when dancers must be IN LINE checking in! The start time is when we begin and cannot wait for latecomers.
Rehearsals by Dancer's Name/Routine
Note that rehearsals can run long at times. Please be flexible with start/end times. Once your dancer has performed all their dances for this recital- they will be free to leave. We DO NOT rehearse the finale. This is not the order of the recital!
IMPORTANT NOTE: When checking your dancer's Rehearsal/Recital day and time, please check the spelling of your dancer's name (this is how it will appear in our program book) and let our desk staff know ASAP if there are any corrections needed.
