Dear Parents,
Our Annual Year End Recital preparations are well on their way, and we have been diligently planning an exciting end to our 2025-2026 season.
A dance recital is always an exciting time for a dancer and their families. It is our goal to make your dancer’s day as organized and exciting as possible!
Our recital depends on everyone's involvement to make it the success your child deserves. A recital is a team effort. Every dancer, parent, and teacher play a key role in the success of the show. We cannot do it without you!
This handbook contains all the necessary information you will need to make your recital experience an enjoyable one. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask. We thank you for the gift of your wonderful and talented children and look forward to working with you on this year's recital!

Each year at our Recital, we produce beautiful slideshows introducing our dancers before the show starts.
All pictures/answers are due by April 3rd. These do not need to be professional pictures! Using your phone is fine! We suggest posing your dancer against a plain background or wall so they stand out.

2. Recital Program Ads!

Sending your favorite dancer a personalized "ad" in our recital program is a great way to commemorate their dance year.
Due to how popular the ads are and the limited space in the program book, we will only be selling 1/4 and 1/2 page ads. See Recital Forms and Orders for more information on pricing and Template choices.

Check your "Costume Sheet" that will be emailed (once costumes go home) for details on what your dancer needs for their recital. Don't forget to check dancer's shoes to make sure they are in good shape and that they fit for recital!

**Tight size exchanges can be made at the desk at Union Street. (Tights can only be exchanged if unopened (by NJ State Law). Additionally tights may also be purchased at the desk at Union Street.
Individual/sibling photo sessions

Tangible Little Moments Photography, located at 33 E. Main Street Suite 4 in Moorestown, will be doing mini photo sessions for our recital track students and we are thrilled! There are a limited amount of slots and they will be available on a first come first served basis.

Dates: May 11-15 from 3:30pm-8:00pm
Costs:
Sitting Fee: $40.00 15 minute time slot per session
Digital Photo Pricing: 1/$35, 5/$99 or all digital photos/Full Gallery One Student $250/ See flyer for sibling pricing.
Cancellation Policy: No refunds on Sitting Fees if cancelled less that 24 hours from appointment. There are a limited amount of slots and they will be available on a first come first served basis.

How to schedule:
Log into your Tutus parent portal. Look at the top menu for the heading name “Register”.
Click the drop down arrow and click on "Private Lessons & Appointments" which will bring you to the “Individual/Sibling Mini Photo Sessions”.
Click “Schedule” where you will then see the list of days/times. You can edit this up to 24 hours before your appointment. Please see the cancellation policy.

THE PROCEEDS FROM TICKET SALES ARE USED TO PAY FOR THE THEATER, SCENERY, LIGHTING AND BACKSTAGE CREWS. TO ENSURE THAT WE CAN CONTINUE TO SHOWCASE OUR STUDENTS IN A PROFESSIONAL THEATER, WE RELY ON OUR FAMILIES TO SUPPORT THEIR CHILD’S PERFORMANCE BY SELLING TICKETS.

Ticket cost: $22.00 online (plus tax and convenience charge)
Tickets the day of the show will be $30.00 including tax and fees.

This is the last week of classes for the season! Parents are encouraged to attend the last 10 minutes of your dancer's class to review costume and rehearsal details.

Please note: Call time is when dancers must be IN LINE checking in! The start time is when we begin and cannot wait for latecomers.

Note that rehearsals can run long at times. Please be flexible with start/end times. Once your dancer has performed all their dances for this recital- they will be free to leave. We DO NOT rehearse the finale. This is not the order of the recital!
IMPORTANT NOTE: When checking your dancer's Rehearsal/Recital day and time, please check the spelling of your dancer's name (this is how it will appear in our program book) and let our desk staff know ASAP if there are any corrections needed.
Recital by Class. THIS IS NOT THE ORDER OF THE DANCES. The orders will be announced closer to the show.
